Welcome to the World of Robert Illesh Music
Robert Illesh is a versatile internationally profiled guitarist, composer, producer and all-round musician, with a tendency towards unusual and extraordinary work, which kind of reflects his life and view of life in general. Rooted in the progressive genre, Robert Illesh effectively meanders across all styles including classical, jazz, folk, rock and fusion, arriving at a style which is ultimately classic, but intimately his own. Current credit highlights include working with Steve Howe and Jon Anderson of Yes, Glenn Cornick and Clive Bunker of Jethro Tull; and Steve Grant of The Sweet in the classical-rock extravaganza Barockestra.
Robert Illesh has released an original solo album called Golden, of Classical and Sacred oriented pieces. Listen to an audio taster here. Full press release here.
Robert Illesh is the creative driving force behind the Progressive Aquaplanage project which is essentially a classic prog album with some modern twists. It is on sale in all the usual places.
Robert Illesh continues to be an ambassador for the music of 70s progressive group Yes. He is a long term member of UK band Fragile and may also be seen moonlighting across Europe with Yessongs Italy.
